In Baptism, we are joined with Christ in His death as we turn from our sins, and are raised to new life through the power of His resurrection. We are welcomed into the Body of Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to grow in faith and become more like Jesus. Baptism is both a gift of God’s grace, made possible through the saving work of Christ, and our response of faith as we commit to follow Him as His disciples. 

We love to baptize people during Sunday morning worship, but that isn't the only time! We have baptized people in the lake, in a swimming pool, and outside in a cattle trough. The only requirement is that some of your church family is present to support you! Reach out and we can get your baptism scheduled.

Normally our senior pastor will be the one who baptizes you. However, if you have someone in your life who has impacted your faith journey, He is more than happy to let them be a part of the baptism. We want to make sure your baptism is special to you, because it is one of the most important decisions we can make. 

We believe in different modes of baptism. Immersion is going completely under the water, and that is one way we do it. However, we will also pour water over the top of your head, and even sprinkle water on your head. It's really up to you. We know that the power of Baptism comes from the Spirit of God working in us, and not how the water is applied.
